National Nutrition Month 2022 - Celebrate a World of Flavors

National Nutrition Month®

March is National Nutrition Month®. National Nutrition Month® is an annual event sponsored by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to shine a spotlight on eating a balanced diet and enjoying physical activity for health. The Academy also encourages meeting with a registered dietitian to learn which foods and activity guidelines are best for you. The theme for 2022 is Celebrate a World of Flavors®.

Ways to Celebrate National Nutrition Month®:

  • Add New Colors & Flavors to Your Plate: A rainbow of colors on your plate can give your health a boost. Try some new fruits and vegetables and experiment with new, flavorful recipes like our Spring Veggie Bowl!
  • Move Your Body: The Academy encourages us to make exercise a part of our daily lives. Take a walk with a friend after lunch or try a new activity that looks fun to you like swimming or yoga.
  • Meet with a Registered Dietitian: A registered dietitian can develop an eating and physical activity plan that works for your lifestyle and goals. Make an appointment to plan your personal roadmap to health today.
